AeroShot Energy Expands New England Reach

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- AeroShot Energy's distribution partnerships with several regional distributors have made it possible for the AeroDesigns Inc. product to spread to more convenience stores throughout New England. A new marketing campaign will accompany the expanded reach.

Through deals with J Polep, Core-Mark, Great State Beverages, Blue Coast Beverages and Pine State Trading Co., AeroShot Energy is now available in several thousand stores across in the region, including 7-Eleven, Verc, Xtra Mart, Champlain Farms, Tedeschi Food Shops, Henny Penny, L.E. Belcher and Alliance Stores, according to a company release.

AeroShot's patented air-based delivery system is specially designed to deliver a quick boost of energy that contains the same amount of caffeine as a large cup of coffee. It is available in three flavors: lime, green apple and raspberry.

"We are proud to be working with a world class team of distributors and retail partners throughout New England," said Tom Hadfield, CEO of AeroDesigns Inc. "We are today launching a major marketing effort in the Northeast, including print advertisements, radio spots, billboards, sampling teams, and online promotions."

To that end, AeroDesigns appointed global communications and public relations agency Cohn & Wolfe and independent advertising and branding agency, Mechanica, as its agencies of record. The company raised $13.5 million in financing in the past 12 months, led by Polaris Venture Partners and Flagship Ventures.
