Atlas Oil, Marathon Promotes Fishing Trip Giveaway
TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. and its partner Marathon Petroleum Co. launched a summer of customer appreciation events with an "Angling with Art" Fishing Trip Giveaway promotion.
To generate interest in the promotion, Art "The Marathon Man" Ferguson, along with his official tournament bass fishing boat, appeared May 5 and 6, at two southeastern Michigan area Marathon gas stations. During the appearances, visitors could enter the sweepstakes, which offered a chance to win a guided fishing trip for two lead by Ferguson on Lake Saint Clair, along with photos with Ferguson and his fishing boat, Atlas Oil stated.
In addition, area radio station WJR News/Talk 760’s Rachel Nevada was on-site broadcasting live from one location.
During the summer, Atlas Oil hosts a series of customer appreciation events to thank its customers with free hot dogs, drinks and other gifts and prizes provided by local vendors, according to the company.
