ConAgra Foods Completes Odom's Tennessee Pride Purchase

MADISON, Tenn. -- ConAgra Foods Inc. has successfully completed its purchase of Odom's Tennessee Pride Sausage. The sale, previously announced on April 17, includes facilities in Little Rock, Ark., and Dickson, Tenn., as well as Odom's headquarters in Madison.

"Our family has owned Odom's Tennessee Pride since 1943 and over the course of three generations we built a business alongside thousands of loyal employees and teammates that we remain immensely proud of," said President Larry Odom. "From the very beginning, our goal has always been to manufacture products of the highest quality and to set a standard for excellence in our industry. Most importantly, we want to thank our dedicated and loyal workforce, without whom we could never have achieved this significant milestone. Moving forward, we are excited to be a part of the ConAgra Foods family of leading brands."

SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. acted as exclusive financial advisor to Odom's Tennessee Pride for the sale. Bass, Berry & Sims PLC provided legal counsel.

Odom's Tennessee Pride is a leading manufacturer of value-added pork products and the second largest producer of frozen breakfast sandwiches in the U.S., according to the company. It also offers a variety of snack-sized sandwich offerings and cooked appetizers. The company has approximately 750 employees and annual revenue exceeding $190 million.
