CSNews 2012 Spirit Awards Now Open

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Convenience Store News is now accepting entries for the 5th Annual Spirit Awards for Community Outreach contest. The awards celebrate c-store retailers whose community service programs better the lives of people in the markets they serve.

Submissions should include detailed descriptions of community service programs that took place during 2011-2012. Winning entries will be selected based on scope of giving, personal involvement of company management and associates, innovation and creativity of programs and more. Submissions will be accepted until Sept. 1.

Last year's Grand Spirit Award-winner was Kum & Go LC.
