Early Bird Registration Open for the 2010 PCATS Annual Conference

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) is now offering early bird registration for its 2010 PCATS Annual Conference, to be held Jan. 18-21, in Louisiana. Regardless of membership status, retailers and suppliers can register at a discount through Oct. 31, 2009.

Key decision makers will meet at the Loews New Orleans Hotel to collaborate on technology standards efforts enabling efficient and effective solutions for business process improvement, according to PCATS.

"The PCATS Annual Conference offers an excellent combination of sessions, speakers and networking events to provide retailers with a competitive advantage and help prepare for new technologies or requirements that are on the horizon," said vice president of IT/Petroleum Gabe Olives of Turkey Hill Minit Markets, who also serves as chairman of the PCATS board of directors. "PCATS standards are helping companies do more with significantly less time, energy, resources and money which is extremely important these days."

The four-day gathering of industry leaders features information exchange, informative sessions addressing the latest best practices, luncheon speakers and interaction with fellow industry professionals through networking opportunities.

Registration includes access to PCATS committee and working group meetings, continental breakfast, refreshment breaks, lunch and networking receptions (Monday and Wednesday). There is also a special group outing Tuesday evening at The Crescent City Brewhouse in the French Quarter.
