ExxonMobil Distributes Education Grants

ANDERSON, S.C. -- Through the ExxonMobilEducation Alliance program, Bountyland Petroleum and its dealers will distribute $16,500 in grants to schools in Oconee, Pickens and Anderson counties in South and North Carolina.

Twenty-two area elementary, middle and high schools will receive one of 2,400 available grants, according to a report by the Anderson Independent-Mail.

"Oconee School District will receive $12,750 in grants from the ExxonMobil Education Alliance program to support area schools," said David Land, president and CEO of Bountyland Petroleum, which worked with school officials to secure the grants.
