Famima Lowers Prices on Takeout Food
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. -- The Fountain Valley Famima store temporarily lowered prices on dozens of deli and takeout meals, with discounts ranging from 50 cents to $1.50, according to a report in the OC Register.
"It is the toughest time for everyone, but people at Fountain Valley are great and supporting Famima," a company executive said of the discount in the report.
Prices dropped on some of the convenience store’s most popular to-go items: panini sandwiches, wraps, salads and rice bowls. The markdowns will continue for another few weeks.
The chain’s Culver City store has also lowered prices, the report stated.
