Five Appco Properties Up for Grabs

CHICAGO -- NRC Realty Advisors LLC, the firm handling the sale of bankrupt Appalachian Oil Co.'s (Appco) assets, set a deadline for July 31, 2009, for five fee properties that were formerly operated by the convenience store chain.

The five stations are located in Woodway, Clinchport and Duffield, Va., and Manchester and Olive Hill, Ky. The real estate for these sites will be sold with no deed restrictions, according to NRC.

Bidders can purchase stations in a "buy one, some or all" format.

The deadline for the other 47 operating Appco c-stores is July 9, 2009. A complete list of stations can be found at www.nrc.com/906, or by calling the NRC Customer Service Center at (800) 747-3342, ext. 906.

Appco and its sister company, Crescent Oil, both subsidiaries of Titan Global Holdings, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this year.
