Fleming Makes Deal with McLane
TEMPLE, Texas -- McLane Co. Inc. entered into a three-year service agreement with Fleming Corp. of Kansas. Fleming, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Kan., operates numerous fuel and convenience stores throughout the state.
"McLane is fully prepared and anxious to support Fleming's ambitious business plan for its operations throughout Kansas," said Jon Hanson, vice president of sales for McLane's Western and Minnesota divisions.
Currently, Fleming is focusing on organic growth through acquisitions and improved customer satisfaction and believes McLane will help it accomplish its goals.
Temple, Texas-based McLane provides distribution services throughout the United States, delivering food and non-food products to more than 50,000 customer locations, including the convenience store, drugstore, mass merchandise, quick service restaurant and movie theater industries.
