Kum & Go Re-opens Colorado Store

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go L.C. announced the grand reopening of its newest location, in Craig, Colo. -- a 3,400-square-foot store that replaced an existing, smaller store that was demolished to make way for an updated, progressive retail experience.

"We are thrilled to offer the residents of Craig a brand-new Kum & Go store with easier access and a broader offering of products," Kyle Krause, Kum & Go president and CEO, said in a released statement. "We appreciate our customers' patience and loyalty during construction. Kum & Go has enjoyed doing business in Craig for 20 years and we're excited to introduce our new store to the community."

Complete with 12 conventional fueling stations offering unleaded, unleaded plus, premium and diesel fuels, the store has a wide selection of food and beverage products, including Java Ridge Premium Coffee, Go Fresh Market Sandwiches, Nuclear energy drinks and Nutri2o nutraceutical waters. Under its Hiland brand name, the Iowa-based company also offers potato chips, bottled water, cookies and candy.

"We want Kum & Go to continue to be Craig's store of choice for coffee, pop or soda in the morning, gas after work and all the stops in between," Krause said in a released statement.

Kum & Go has pledged to develop environmentally friendly building and operating practices. To this end, the new Craig store integrates heavily insulated glass, LED cooler door lights and energy-efficient coolers into its energy-efficient design.
