Parker's Market Attains TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Status

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- Travelers who have Georgia on their minds may soon have Parker's Market Urban Gourmet on their itinerary. The flagship location of the Parker's convenience store chain was recently honored by TripAdvisor with a 2013 Certificate of Excellence, which is awarded to businesses ranking in the top 10 percent worldwide for traveler feedback.

As a TripAdvisor top-performing business, Parker's Market Urban Gourmet received overwhelmingly positive customer feedback. The 222 Drayton St. location in downtown Savannah, which first opened in February 1999, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Highlights include a full breakfast bar, as well as southern fried chicken, old-fashioned mac n' cheese, she-crab stew, sandwich wraps, crab cakes and other tasty favorites.

Fresh-brewed tea and lemonade are also available daily, in addition to gourmet coffee and a wide selection of fountain drinks served with Parker's signature Chewy Ice.

Parker's Market has been ranked by TripAdvisor as the No. 4 restaurant in Savannah.

The company currently operates 30 c-stores across southeast Georgia and South Carolina, and aims to be recognized throughout the region as the preeminent convenience store operation. Parker's plans to open additional locations in Beaufort, Jasper, Chatham, Bryan, Liberty, Effingham and Bulloch counties.
