Shell Brings Back WINSdays Discount Fuel Promotion

HOUSTON -- Shell is once again redefining Wednesdays during this year's Penske Racing season by bringing back its “WINSdays” fuel savings program. When the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge driver wins a race, Shell Saver cardholders will receive a discount of 22 cents per gallon when they purchase Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines and Shell Diesel fuel.

AJ Allmendinger, driver of the No. 22 car, will make his Penske Racing debut for Shell when the season kicks off this Sunday at Daytona International Speedway. Consumers will have 36 chances to receive the discount over the racing season, which runs through Nov. 18.

"One of the reasons I'm excited to drive the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Dodge is because of great Shell programs like WINsdays. So when I win, Shell Saver cardholders can save," said Allmendinger. "When I'm out there driving for the checkered flag, I won't just be driving for me. I'll be driving to help Shell Saver Cardholders get great savings at the pump and right now that's something we can all get pretty happy about."

Drivers can apply for the Shell Saver Card on the company’s website. For more information on the WINSdays program, visit www.shell.us/winsday.

"We know our customers are looking for ways to save without sacrificing the quality of their fuel," said Bob Butler, manager, commercial cards marketing, Shell Oil Products U.S. "At Shell, we are committed to offering programs that do just that. With WINsdays, we're looking forward to seeing AJ rack up wins this season so that our Shell Saver Cardholders can rack up great savings at the pump, too."
