Stewart's Shops Adds News Channel to Morning Routine

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Stewart's Shops customers can now get the news along with their morning coffee. The chain has partnered with Your News Now (YNN) cable news and will play the station at more than 30 stores in New York's Hudson Valley, reports YNN.

"It is a great opportunity for our customers, for YNN viewers, to come in, grab that bagel, that coffee, and get caught up on what is going on in the news," said Tom Mailey, spokesman for Stewart's Shops. "See what the cars are going to be in the traffic and see what the weather is going to be for the weekend. And then catch a little information on a Stewart's product or on our people, and then move on with the day better informed."

Participating stores are located in Ulster, Dutchess and Orange counties.

Stewart's Shops, a family- and employee-owned company based in upstate New York, operates more than 320 convenience stores.
