Swedish Match North America Gets New President
RICHMOND, Va. -- Rich Flaherty was named president of Swedish Match North America, effective Nov. 12, replacing Lennart Freeman who moves to the position of president of Swedish Match International, the company reported.
Flaherty joined Swedish Match North America in 2000 as its Chief Financial Officer and most recently served as its Chief Operating Officer. He has more than 20 years of experience working in the consumer packaged goods industry, including positions at Unilever and Bumble Bee Seafoods.
