Tesco Selects Enterprise Workforce Management Solution

LONDON -- Tesco will employ RedPrairie Corp.’s workforce management application at all of its retail stores, the technology firm stated.

Dave Briggs, program manager for Tesco, said the solution will enable the company to deliver greater customer service by aligning customer traffic with employee scheduling.

"We selected RedPrairie because they provide the best scheduling solution that can operate across Tesco’s different formats," Briggs said in a statement. "By helping ensure that we always have people on hand to assist shoppers, it supports our constant effort to improve customer experience. Ultimately, it will improve our business by increasing store productivity and supporting revenue growth."

Martin Hiscox, president and managing director International, RedPrairie, explained he is pleased to broaden the relationship between both companies. "It is highly satisfying to receive further recognition of the strength of our solutions from such a well-respected company and we look forward to continued success together."
