Time is Running Out to Submit Technology Leadership Awards Nominations

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- The deadline is fast approaching to submit nominations for the 9th annual Convenience Store News Technology Leadership Awards.

The deadline to submit nominations is March 16.

The awards offer plenty of perks, including a gala presentation at NACStech 2012, taking place May 21-23 in Nashville, and a feature in the July 23 issue of Convenience Store News.

Both retailers and industry suppliers are welcome to submit nominations for the Technology Leadership Awards. Two awards will be presented: The Top Tech Executive Award will honor a convenience store industry executive who demonstrates vision and innovation, and leads the way for the company and industry to take full advantage of tech solutions. The Outstanding Tech Implementation Award will go to the convenience store chain that best used a technology solution during the past year.

In 2011, Pat Lewis, CEO of Oasis Stop 'N Go and Kickback Rewards Systems, was the Top Tech Executive Award winner. Rutter's Farms Stores took home the Outstanding Technology Implementation Award for its introduction of a mobile application (app).
