TravelCenters of America Dominates Driver Satisfaction Survey
WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC (TA), operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers, announced the results of the sixth annual "Voted Best" independent survey. Conducted by Overdrive Magazine during September, the survey gathered driver feedback on truck stop service and amenities.
Survey respondents had a distinct preference for TA and Petro locations versus the next closest truck stop brand, according to the results:
"Like last year, the 2012 survey results show a clear and growing preference by drivers for our Full-Service Advantage, which starts with our respect for them. It's great to see through these survey results in categories relating to employee friendliness, trustworthy staff, and understanding of truckers that our customers are feeling that respect," said Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters.
O'Brien added, "The Petro Iron Skillet restaurants and TA Truck Service facilities again dominated their categories. As in past years, drivers have reported an overwhelming preference for TA and Petro when it comes to restrooms and showers, recognizing the care with which we attend to cleanliness. Additionally, many of our new services, like the TruckSmart mobile application, StayFit fitness rooms, and new laundry facilities were top ranked in their categories, showing that our efforts to provide drivers more and better free amenities are in the right place."
TA operates 242 locations in 41 states and Canada that offer fueling services, nearly 500 full- and quick-service restaurants, truck maintenances, convenience stores and more.
