Two C-store Veterans Promoted at Executive Search Firms

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Two convenience industry veterans -- Steve Hostetter and Bob Iezzi -- assumed new leadership positions within executive recruitment firms Executive Leadership Solutions (ELS) and its sister company, Coleman Haley & Wright, ELS stated.

Hostetter was promoted to the role of chief placement officer for ELS, while Iezzi was named chief operating officer at Coleman Haley & Wright, the company stated.

"I have known these two professionals for many years," Brian Wright, managing partner of ELS and Coleman Haley & Wright, said in a statement. "Both have keen intellects and solid business judgment. More importantly, both have an in-depth understanding and focus on the customers we serve, both client companies as well as candidates. Very few firms are lucky enough to have even one leader like either one of these two, so we are very excited to have them leading their respective segments of our recruiting and executive search offering to the industry."

Hostetter joined ELS from his role as executive vice president and COO of DB Cos. Inc. of Rhode Island and Kangaroo Inc. of Georgia, according to the company. Hostetter began his career in the c-store industry as a store manager for Sheetz, and later served as merchandising manager, regional manager and director of operations, the company stated. He left Sheetz to be the president of his own chain of 12 convenience stores, Hostetter Oil of Florida, and later sold the venture to join Circle K as a division president, according to the company.

Iezzi began his career in the convenience industry with Thornton Oil Corp. -- now Thorntons Inc. -- and spent 23 years with the company, serving as a manager and progressing to roles as the vice president of operations, the vice president of marketing and finally, the executive vice president for the company and a member of the board of directors, according to the company.

ELS is an executive search firm specializing in executive recruitment for all segments of the supermarket, upstream and downstream oil, gasoline marketing and related goods and services suppliers. Its sister company, Coleman Haley & Wright, is a retained executive search firm specializing in placements of senior level executives, according to the company.
