Cumberland Farms’ Ari Haseotes Is Retailer Executive of the Year
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Convenience Store News’ blue-chip panel of industry leaders chose Cumberland Farms Inc. CEO Ari Haseotes as winner of this year’s Retailer Executive of the Year award.
This award, now in its third year, recognizes a retailer executive who exemplifies leadership, business acumen, dedication to the industry and commitment to community service. Last year’s Retailer Executive of the Year was Tony Kenney, president of Speedway LLC.
Haseotes, along with the 2016 inductees into the Convenience Store News Hall of Fame — QuikTrip Corp. Chairman, President and CEO Chet Cadieux, and Bob Johnson, founder and CEO of The Pinnacle Corp. — will be honored at a gala banquet and induction ceremony this fall in Tulsa, Okla., hometown of Cadieux’s 725-plus unit convenience store chain. The Hall of Fame honors pioneers and innovators for their lifetime of service to the industry.
