7-Eleven Deploys Talent Management Solution
DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. is deploying Softscape for Retail talent management solution to better align and manage its approximately 30,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada, according to the vendor, Softscape.
"In our thorough assessment of available options, we felt the Softscape product was superior, especially related to compensation management," Scott Hintz, 7-Eleven's vice president of compensation, said in a released statement. "More importantly, Softscape really listened to us, understood our needs, and demonstrated how they could help us meet our business requirements. With Softscape, we didn't feel that we were being pushed into a box."
With the human resources technology, 7-Eleven can provide strategic alignment of business areas with talent pools, matching competencies with organizational needs, evaluating and deploying people more accurately, and managing diverse relationships to better develop departmental talent, the company reported.
7-Eleven will use Softscape's Retail solution to initially manage performance management, 360 multi-rater feedback, succession planning, compensation management, incentive compensation and workforce analytics, the vendor reported.
Softscape's Retail people management solution provides a common platform for capturing and reporting performance assessments, 360 feedback, learning and development activities, and compliance and certification requirements. Because Softscape offers a single platform, all data resides in secure database architecture to provide robust reporting and analytic capabilities, according to the company.
