7-Eleven to Extend Iced Coffee Line
DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc., operator of more than 7,200 convenience stores in North America, signed a three-year agreement with Javo Beverages Co. to supply participating stores on the East and West Coasts with premium coffee beverages, expanding the chain's dispensed iced-coffee line.
"This is an important expansion for our coffee-beverage line and adds another option for our coffee-loving customers," Donald Driver, 7-Eleven hot beverage category manager, said in a written statement. "Our team has carefully studied this opportunity and reviewed a large group of potential suppliers. Javo, which helped us test a premium iced-coffee beverage for a self-serve environment, will be a principal supplier for our expansion."
Prior to the agreement, the products were available at approximately 500 7-Eleven stores in the Northeast for more than a year. Details of the expansion are still being finalized, according to Gary Lillian, president of Javo.
The ready-to-serve beverages will be available in flavors Mocha Latte, French Vanilla Latte, Colombian Iced Coffee, Hazelnut Iced Coffee and new Fusion Energy Vanilla Latte.
