7-Eleven Goes Looney
DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc., the nation's largest convenience store chain, will introduce Bravo! Foods' Looney Tunes flavored milk at as many as 5,300 participating stores in the United States.
Slammers Fortified Reduced Fat Milk will be available at 7-Eleven stores in four flavors: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and banana. Each 11.2-ounce package contains an attached straw and features colorful graphics that prominently highlight popular Looney Tunes characters Bugs Bunny, Tasmanian Devil, Tweety Bird and Sylvester the Cat.
"Slammers is the first vitamin- and mineral-enriched milk positioned specifically for kids," said 7-Eleven category manager Kurt Schumacher. "Slammers packs can be frozen and popped in a lunch box where they'll gradually thaw. Kids and adults can enjoy a very cold serving of milk or even a semi-frozen milkshake packed with calcium, vitamins and nutrients."
The convenience chain recently unveiled a special beverage section just for kids. Billed as the "Cooler Fun Zone," the new section is positioned at kids' eye level and features beverages targeted to kids in three age groups - 1-6, 7-12, and teenagers.
"Our relationship with 7-Eleven represents a significant step in bringing our product directly and conveniently to our target market," said Bravo! Foods CEO Roy Warren.
