7-Eleven Stores to Launch Breakfast Blenders
NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. -- 7-Eleven Inc. is collaborating with Bravo! Foods International to launch Bravo! Breakfast Blenders, a line of fortified milks.
"Our customer trends showed the typical consumer is skipping breakfast due to hurried schedules, while health research shows breakfast is a very important meal," said Kurt Schumacher, category manager of dairy and ice cream products for 7-Eleven. "Customers are looking for convenient products that are nutritious and consumable on the go.”
The drinks are targeted to busy consumers seeking nutritious milk drinks and combine milk, fortified with vitamins and minerals, with breakfast fruits and flavors. It is advertised as 100 percent lactose free, low in sugar and providing 50 percent more protein. Flavors include chocolate raspberry, vanilla peach, double French vanilla and double chocolate.
Planned marketing by Bravo! to debut Breakfast Blenders will include sponsorship of local radio weather reports in major U.S. cities, promotion by television and radio personality Leeza Gibbons, and print and media advertising. Grassroots promotions are also planned in select markets, including a "Breakfast Brigade" sampling campaign at mass transit stops and city office buildings.
