ROUND ROCK, Texas — 7-Eleven Inc. and Wayne Fueling Systems are celebrating the recent installation of Wayne Ovation fuel dispensers at a convenience store and gas station here. To mark the occasion, the companies will offer 87 octane fuel for $1.49 per gallon to the first 100 guests who arrive during an event taking place April 2 from 10 a.m. to noon.
The 7-Eleven store, located close to Wayne's Austin, Texas, headquarters, is considered the company's flagship fueling site.
“The 7-Eleven location near Wayne’s campus is a great fit for our flagship fueling site,” said Wayne CEO Neil Thomas. "It makes us extremely proud that 7-Eleven has chosen to showcase our fuel pumps at the gas station near our corporate headquarters.”
The reduced fuel price is available to cars, SUVs, pickup trucks and motorcycles. Each customer taking advantage of the reduced fuel price offer must adhere to a 30-gallon maximum with no outside containers allowed.
In addition to the fuel discount, 7-Eleven will offer customers at the Round Rock store a free Big Gulp fountain soft drink, coffee or Slurpee beverage with the purchase of any hot food, cold sandwich or bakery item throughout the day.
"We want our guests to have a fast and easy fueling experience. And that’s what the Ovation2 dispenser helps to offer," 7-Eleven's Director of Gasoline Environmental Compliance and Remediation Ron Fulencheck said. “It’s been a pleasure working with Wayne on this project, and we look forward to working with them in the future.”
Wayne Fueling Systems is one of the world’s largest suppliers of fuel dispensers, payment terminals, forecourt control devices, point-of-sale, and other measurement and control solutions to the retail and commercial fueling industry.
