AAA Members Find Savings at GATE Convenience Stores

TAMPA, Fla. – GATE Convenience Stores and AAA partnered up to offer customers in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee the chance to earn AAA Dollars when they fill their tanks.

AAA members who swipe their membership cards at GATE locations now earn 3 cents per gallon on cash fuel purchases and 1 cent per gallon on credit or debit card fuel purchases, accrued in AAA Dollars, to be applied to their next membership renewal.

"It's like getting paid to shop," said Belinda Dabrowski, managing director, AAA partnership development, The Auto Club Group. "The more times you fuel up at GATE and swipe your membership card, the more you can earn AAA Dollars that can save you money on your annual AAA membership."

AAA members in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee are already enrolled in the program and will automatically receive AAA Dollars when they make eligible purchases. There are no accounts to manage or points to redeem.

Members can also earn AAA Dollars by shopping at other participating partner locations, the AAA Dollars Online Mall or at AAA offices in the participating states. The full list of participating retailers is available at AAA.com/Save.

"The AAA Dollars provides another mechanism to further enhance and personalize the GATE experience for our customers," said Kristen Beach, media and marketing director for GATE. "Not just easy to use, the program is highly rewarding providing valued savings and an additional way for our customers to earn a renewal toward their trusted AAA membership."

Jacksonville, Fla.-based GATE operates convenience stores throughout the southeastern United States in Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Carolina.
