AAA Mid-Atlantic, Wawa Partner to Benefit Motorists

WAWA, Pa. -- AAA Mid-Atlantic and Wawa Inc. are giving away car care for October's National Car Care Month.

Throughout the month, AAA Mid-Atlantic is offering motorists a free 40-Point Car Care check-up at more than 20 Car Care events around the auto club's territory. Among those events are seven are scheduled at Wawa at locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.

All motorists – AAA members and non-members alike – are welcome to attend a Car Care event. "We are bringing AAA's automotive expertise to Wawa customers," said Tracy Noble, AAA Mid-Atlantic manager of public and government affairs. "This AAA partnership with Wawa is a win-win for motorists and Wawa's patrons. Thousands of drivers who fill up their gas tanks at Wawa will have the chance to get a free car care check from AAA, which may save them a costly repair or breakdown down the road."

AAA Mid-Atlantic's free 40-point check-up includes inspections of power steering, transmission and brake fluid levels, belts and pulleys, battery and tires, the radiator, defroster, heater and more.

Following the check-up by AAA's automotive experts, motorists will receive advice and a diagnostic report to take with them. This report will document vehicle issues identified by AAA's automotive experts that need further inspection or repair.
