AAFES Rated Top Company for Hispanic Women

DALLAS — LATINA Style magazine named the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) as one of the 50 best companies for Hispanic women to work for, further reinforcing the Exchange’s commitment to workplace diversity.

The Exchange was chosen for this year's LATINA Style 50 list following the assessment of more than 800 companies. The publication’s annual rankings are regarded as an important source of information for Latinas across the United States.

The Exchange’s selection was reported in the magazine’s August issue. The chain will also be honored at the magazine’s awards ceremony and diversity conference in early 2015.

“The Exchange consistently champions diversity, and this national award is a testament to our strong commitment to excellence,” said Executive Vice President and Chief Merchandising Officer Ana Middleton, one of the company's highest-ranking Latinas. “Diversity in the workforce is essential to ensuring the Exchange serves soldiers, airmen, their families and retirees in the best way possible.”

The LATINA Style 50 report focuses on companies that are dedicated to diverse recruiting and promotion efforts. The report also highlights entities that have programs for recruiting veterans and military personnel.
