All Candy Expo Moves To Spring 2008
The National Confectioners Association, sponsor of the All Candy Expo, has moved the 2008 expo to May 20 through 22.
The Expo will settle into spring dates starting next year to "address the ever-changing market needs of the majority of its longtime exhibitors and key customers," the association said in a statement.
"The spring date lets buyer attendees take advatnage of earlier buying cycles, while many confectionery and snack exhibitors are afforded an extended selling timeline for the year, so it's a win-win situation for both sides" said NCA President Larry Graham.
Snack and cookie companies exhibited for the first time this year, increasing the exhibitor base by 15 percent.
The majority of buyers surveyed by NCA purchase both snacks and confectionery products.
