Aloha Honors Longtime Station Owners

HONOLULU – Aloha Petroleum Ltd. honored longtime Kahala Shell owner Madeleine Snow and previous owner Bill Green with a recent appreciation event celebrating their service. At the event, CEO Richard Parry presented both with Aloha's Golden Nozzle awards.

"This is the end of an era at Kahala Shell," stated Parry. "Bill and Madeleine have been fixtures within this community for the last 34 years, with Madeleine taking over as owner from Bill in 2000. We have enjoyed a highly professional relationship with Madeleine and she has represented the Shell brand extremely well over the years. We're very sorry to see her go."

Snow will retire Aug. 31 following the end of her current lease term, the company said. Aloha Petroleum will continue to operate the location under the Shell brand, although it discontinued oil changes and auto repairs as of Aug. 1.

The location is scheduled to be razed and rebuilt as part of a master plan development during late 2016, after which it will continue as a Shell gasoline-only location.

Aloha Petroleum Ltd. is the largest independent gasoline marketer and one of the largest convenience store operators in Hawaii, serving customers through nearly 100 Shell-, Aloha- and Mahalo-branded fueling stations throughout the state.
