Alon Brands Completes Wichita Falls Remodeling Project

WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Alon Brands, the largest 7-Eleven licensee in North America, has completed a nearly $1.5-million remodeling project at 10 area stores and will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate on Friday, Jan. 18.

The project, which includes eight complete store remodels, gave the stores a new look, improved restrooms and lighting, and new food and coffee options, reported the Times Record News.

"Through these major remodeling projects and ongoing investments in our community, Alon Brands continues to be an important business in the city, meeting the convenience needs of residents and visitors," stated Wichita Falls Mayor Glenn Barham.

Barham and other local business and community leaders will attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which will take place at 10 a.m. at the Alon/7-Eleven store at 1201 Central Freeway and kick off a three-day celebration, according to the report.

"Our investment in the store improvements sends a clear message of our commitment to the Wichita Falls community," said Jonathan Ketchum, senior vice president of Alon Brands. "As we continue to demonstrate our dedication to innovation, customer service and support to the communities we call home, we're excited about the future. You can see these changes for yourself all around the community."
