Arkansas Family Wins Bass Boat in Chevron Sweepstakes

SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Kevin and Michelle Downs of Jonesboro, Ark., can now enjoy a fully equipped 2013 ZX190 Skeeter bass boat thanks to winning the grand prize in the 2013 Delo Big Bass Sweepstakes.

The promotion, run by Chevron Products Co., ran from July 27 to Oct. 31. The first-place prize was an all-expense-paid trip to appear on "Honey Hole All Outdoors" television show. Second prize -- awarded to four winners -- was a $500 cash gift card.

"I was shocked, I wasn’t sure whether to believe it or not," said Michelle Downs, whose family was presented with the boat during an event at Craighead Forest Lake. "I’ve never won anything this big. Our whole family loves to fish, so the boat will definitely be put to good use."

Chevron had a tremendous response to its Big Bass Sweepstakes, said Jim Gambill, North America commercial and industrial brands manager.
