Atlas Oil Co. Makes Five New Management Appointments

TAYLOR, Mich. -- Atlas Oil Co. added five new members to its management team, reflecting the company's rapid growth and development despite a challenging environment, the company reported.

"At Atlas, we are continuing to expand our footprint and grow our lines of business despite a tough economy nationwide," said Sam Simon, chairman and CEO of Atlas Oil. "We are building a world-class organization at Atlas and have added more than 160 people in the past six months. This is a true testament to the outstanding culture we are building."

Don Wright is now chief information officer, responsible for the company's information technology infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations. He joins Atlas from Continental Automotive where he was CIO of North American operations. Also, Doug Sartain is now vice president of transportation, joining the company from Shipmate Logistics, where he served as President. He is responsible for logistics, operations, maintenance and safety for Atlas' transportation business.

The company also added three new directors. John Hollender, director of commission sales, is responsible for the leadership and growth of the commission marketer channel and will be located in the company's new Niles, Mich. office. Bob Lawrence, director of treasury, joins Atlas from Key Safety Systems where he was responsible for treasury, cash management, insurance risk management and covenant compliance. Lawrence is responsible for supervising Atlas' credit and collections, as well as the treasury department. And Mary Healy Zaleski joins Atlas as director of marketing where she is responsible for the development of marketing plans for all lines of business, as well as internal and external communications, including the corporate Web site, Intranet and corporate identity programs. Zaleski joins Atlas from Fifth Third Bank where she held a similar marketing and communications role.
