BP Launches New Visa Card

WILMINGTON, Del.--As vacation travelers get set to hit the road this summer, BP and Chase have launched the new BP Visa Card, which provides users with rebates on gasoline, travel and dining purchases.

The new BP Visa Card offers a five percent rebate on BP purchases--including gas, convenience store items and car washes. Additionally, cardmembers can earn two percent rebates on most travel and dining purchases as well as one percent on all other card purchases.

“BP is proud to partner with Chase to offer such a generous rewards program to loyal BP customers,” said David VanWiggeren, card marketing manager for BP. “In addition to earning higher rebates, cardmembers can choose the redemption option that is most convenient and relevant for them.”

Cardmembers who apply during May and June will receive double rebates for the first 60 days after the account is opened. The BP Visa Card has no annual fee and a competitive introductory APR.

Every time cardmembers accumulate at least $25 in rebates, they can redeem them for cash, a BP gift card or a donation to The Conservation Fund--the nation’s top-rated environmental charity.

"We're excited to offer a product that gives great value back to our customers," said Donna Barrett, executive vice president, Chase Card Services. "Card members will find that by using the new BP Visa Card, they can quickly earn significant rebates on virtually all of their daily purchases and redeem those rebates in a way best suited for them. This product is about value and flexibility."
