BP Sells 26 Akron Stations
AKRON, Ohio -- BP sold 26 Akron-area convenience stores and gas stations to Giant Oil, a Tampa-based petroleum jobber, reported the Beacon Journal.
The locations will remain BP-branded stations, according to the report. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Of BP's U.S. locations, 3,500 are company- or dealer-operated, while another 10,500 are owned or supplied by jobbers, the report stated.
