Break Time C-stores Donate 5 Cents per Gallon to Charity
COLUMBIA, Mo. -- MFA Oil Co. donated 5 cents for every gallon of gasoline last Friday at its Break Time convenience stores here to the local Youth Empowerment Zone (YEZ) organization, according to a report by KOMU-TV8.
YEZ works with at-risk kids. Services provided include help with writing resumes and job interview skills, the station reported.
Volunteers pumped gasoline for customers and washed windshields for tips. All tips collected at the two locations will go to YEZ.
MFA Oil Co. operates 76 Break Time c-stores in Missouri and Arkansas.
