Broaster Adds 162 Locations in One Month

BELOIT, Wis. — Broaster Co. is celebrating its 60th anniversary as a branded food program and foodservice equipment provider with a sharp acceleration in growth. In September alone, 162 foodservice operators added Broaster to their programs, the company reported.

"Opening 162 branded operator locations in one month is a true testament to the growth of our brand as a whole," said Jay Cipra, president of Broaster. "Operators are taking note of our full-service branded programs that make it easy for them to expand their foodservice programs, or get into the foodservice business for the first time. Our food offerings answer customer demand for on-the-go convenience that does not sacrifice quality, and the programs come complete with everything the operator needs to be up and running immediately."

The 162 new locations — a combination of convenience stores and restaurants — join approximately 5,000 branded operator locations across the United States that serve Genuine Broaster Chicken and Broaster Express food products.

Broaster offers all-inclusive packages — complete with food, equipment and branded marketing materials — that allow operators to provide on-the-go meals and snacks. Its license branded program does not require development fees, royalty payments or franchise fees. Broaster's program is suitable for foodservice operations looking to expand their existing menu or take part in to-go programs with quality offerings, according to the company.

This year, Broaster is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a complete brand refresh, as CSNews Online previously reported. This includes an updated logo, new marketing materials, streamlined websites, and new technology such as SmartTouch Controller technology for Broaster pressure fryers and a mobile app with a store locator.
