The Broaster Co. Unveils New Production Facility

BELOIT, Wis. -- The Broaster Co. debuted its new blending room this month, showcasing a six-figure capital investment in equipment and technology at its company headquarters. Its blending operation now includes upgraded mixing and packaging equipment to deliver a 25-percent increase in the company's capacity to provide blended coatings and marinades to its customers worldwide, according to the company.

"We've been planning this upgrade for over a year and now expect to realize gains in efficiency and overall operating expenses with the new equipment," stated Dick Schrank, chief operating officer at The Broaster Co. "This gives us flexibility in blending non-allergenic products that will improve our response times and our turnaround on custom blends and standard coatings and marinades."

The American Institute of Baking has recognized The Broaster Co. with the "AIB superior" foodservice audit rating for the last four years, the company said. "And we intend to keep the top rating going forward," added Schrank.

The Broaster Co. provides equipment, processes, and menu solutions to branded foodservice concepts worldwide. More than 5,000 independent operators worldwide use the Broaster trademark, serving Genuine Broaster Chicken and other products.
