Byrne Dairy Stores Select Pinnacle
ARLINGTON, Texas -- Sonbyrne Sales Inc., dba Byrne Dairy Inc. -- operator of 55 stores in New York -- has selected The Pinnacle Corp.'s Symphony.auditor, Oasis Manager Workstation and Price Book, according to Pinnacle.
"We were looking for a company, such as Pinnacle, that understood our industry and offered a system that would help us complete paperwork more efficiently, allowing our store personnel to focus more time on the customer and allow corporate to better manage our stores by receiving store data quickly," said Melissa Burke, project manager for Byrne Dairy, whose retail division, Sonbyrne Sales, operates stores covering New York's Syracuse, Rochester, Utica, Finger Lakes, Old Forge and Southern Tier areas.
Symphony.auditor is Pinnacle's retail accounting manager and part of a suite of browser-based products built on Pinnacle's Symphony Business Platform. With it, retailers can have the flexibility of customizing sets of rules that validate data related to sales and cash accountability, fuel inventory categories, and cost and retail inventory. Data that does not pass user-defined exception rules will not be marked as audited.
Exceptions are displayed and easily checked for accuracy. Once data is audited, retailers can use the Web-based reporting system to extract various types of reports.
