C-store Chains to Present at Multicultural Retail 360 Summit

5/5/2016

SAN DIEGO — Three leading western U.S. convenience store chains will discuss the impact of multicultural consumers on the convenience retail channel at this year’s Multicultural Retail 360 Summit.

Maria Correa, customer research analyst for Utah-based Maverik Inc.; Cecilia Perez, director of multicultural marketing for Northern California-based Chevron Corp.; and Luisa Salazar, director of marketing and advertising for Southern California-based ampm/ARCO, will take part in the event being held Aug. 24-26.

The c-store retailer executives will address the changing demographics in their markets. They will also discuss the impact on their stores’ sales, how they are engaging with today’s multicultural shoppers, and what multicultural trends bode for the future of the U.S. c-store industry.

The Multicultural Retail 360 Summit is the premier conference for retailers looking to grow their business with America’s multicultural consumers. The theme for this year’s event is “Optimizing the Omnichannel Experience for Multicultural Consumers.” In addition to the c-store industry presenters, the agenda includes speakers from Facebook, Zumba, Albertsons/Jewel-Osco, as well as dozens of other retail, consumer packaged goods, multicultural marketing and consulting firms.

This year’s Summit brings some star power, too, with the announcement that multifaceted performer and Emmy winner John Leguizamo will deliver a featured speech on the opening day.
