C-stores Serve Up National Coffee Day Deals

YORK, Pa. – Convenience store chains across the country are celebrating National Coffee Day with promos to fuel their customers on Monday.

York-based Rutter's Farm Stores is giving a free large coffee to customers who purchase any breakfast sandwich and present their Rutter’s Rewards card at the register. The promotion will also earn the customer a 2-cent-per-gallon discount on their next fuel purchase, a penny per gallon for each item.

"We want to not only celebrate National Coffee Day with our customers, but reward them for buying items we know they love with cents off per gallon rewards, that’s what the Rutter’s Rewards program is all about," said Derek Gaskins, Rutter's chief customer officer.

Rutter's Farm Stores has 60 locations across central Pennsylvania.

Kangaroo Express is also celebrating National Coffee Day with 1-cent 12-ounce coffees from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Monday. The leading banner of Cary, N.C.-based The Pantry Inc. has 1,500 stores in 13 states in the Southeast.

In addition, Flash Foods will be offering a free small coffee to customers between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. Waycross, Ga.-based Flash Foods operates more than 170 convenience stores in Georgia and Florida.
