CEFCO Implements PriceAdvantage Chainwide

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- CEFCO Convenience Stores has taken its partnership with Skyline Products chainwide by implementing its PriceAdvantage solution at an additional 72 locations. "PriceAdvantage has increased our efficiency across the fuel pricing process, but most significantly in the time it takes us to price our 194 sites," stated Brett Giesick, CEFCO's chief retail officer. "We have found that it takes us only one to two hours to complete price changes across the network, including updates to the POS (point-of-sale), pump and electronic price signs. So naturally, it was an easy decision to include the additional new sites in our partnership with Skyline."

PriceAdvantage is designed to increase a retailer's efficiency and effectiveness by automating the fuel-pricing process, including the collection of competitive surveys, detailed analysis of price determination and rapid speed-to-the-street price change execution, the supplier said. Users are able to change prices at fuel pumps, electronic price signs and the POS from one centralized location.

"We are elated that CEFCO has seen such an improvement in their fuel pricing process with PriceAdvantage, and we're excited to be a part of their success," added Aaron McHugh, head of PriceAdvantage division for Skyline.

CEFCO Convenience Stores currently operates 194 stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
