CEFCO Looks For a PriceAdvantage

TEMPLE, Texas -- CEFCO Convenience Stores has extended its partnership with PriceAdvantage so that all of its recently acquired Taylor Food Mart locations incorporate the technology company's fuel price management solutions.

Fikes Wholesale Inc., parent company of CEFCO, purchased 63 Taylor Food Mart stores from Taylor Petroleum Co. in January.

"As we continue to grow, it's imperative that our fuel pricing tool handle the scalability of our company and more importantly be a process for centralized and harmonized fuel pricing," said Brett Giesick, chief retail officer at CEFCO. "We have found PriceAdvantage to be an important tool to help us maintain consistency of our pricing strategy throughout our network."

PriceAdvantage, a division of Skyline Products, is designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of a retailer's pricing process. According to the company, the solution provides automation for the entire fuel pricing process, including collection of competitive surveys, detailed analysis for best price determination and more.

CEFCO operates 257 stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
