‘Celebrating Franchisees’ Is Focus of 2014 NCASEF Convention
TUCSON, Ariz. – The National Coalition of Associations of 7-Eleven Franchisees (NCASEF) opened online registration for its 39th annual convention and trade show. This year's event will be held July 12-16 at the world-famous Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel in Orlando.
The theme of this year's convention is “Celebrating Franchisees” to honor the men and women who operate 7-Eleven franchises nationwide. NCASEF is the national trade group for 7-Eleven store owners in the United States, representing the interests of almost 4,700 convenience store owners whose 6,067 franchise-owned stores employ more than 40,000 workers.
“It’s a great time in our industry to be a franchisee,” said Joe Galea, chairman of NCASEF. “There are many challenges for franchisees, but even more so, there are amazing opportunities for franchisees. The national coalition represents the hardest-working and most professional men and women in the convenience store industry, and we are honored to represent them. At this convention, we will celebrate their commitment, their passion and their service.”
Online registration is available by visiting the National Coalition’s website at www.NCASEF.com.
Sixty-two major sponsors and more than 300 exhibitors participated in last year’s trade show in Las Vegas, where NCASEF collected more than $750,000 in donations for Hire Heroes USA and $110,000 in donations for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This year’s designated beneficiary will be Swim Across America, a charity dedicated to fighting cancer.
