Chevron Debuts Victor E. Van for USC

SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Chevron Products Co. continues to expand its Chevron Cars family -- this time with the release of the Victor E. Van, customized for University of Southern California (USC), according to a company news release.

Victor E. Van comes in Trojan Cardinal and Gold, and features eyes that move, doors that open, side-view mirrors, and stickers with the USC team’s logo. Vans can be purchased for a suggested retail price of $7.99 at participating Chevron stations or through the Chevron Toy Cars' Web site at www.chevroncars.com.

Chevron will donate a portion of its net proceeds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern California. Also, in celebration of the newest addition to the Chevron Cars family, members of the Boys & Girls Clubs each received a USC Victor E. Van and participated in a tailgate party before the USC vs. Washington State home game on Saturday.

With the introduction of the 2007 Victor E. Van models, which also includes one customized for Arizona State University, there are now 57 unique Chevron Cars in the collection, with more than 16 million toy cars sold to date. Chevron's toy cars hit the market in 1996 in the World of Cars campaign to launch Chevron with Techron.

Chevron Products Co. is a division of Chevron U.S.A. Inc., an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Chevron Corp., which is based in San Ramon, Calif.
