Circle K Looks to Become 'Hot Rod' With New Sponsorship

GLENDORA, Calif. -- Circle K Stores Inc. will serve as the title sponsor for the 2014 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Winternationals from Feb. 6-9. The season-opening event for the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series will take place at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona, Calif., and features NHRA race teams unveiling their new cars, sponsors and paint schemes as they begin their quest to win NHRA world championship titles.

"We are thrilled to partner with Circle K for the 54th running of the NHRA Winternationals, one of the most popular and highly anticipated races of the season," said Gary Darcy, NHRA senior vice president of sales and marketing. "Circle K has a great presence throughout southern California and will be a terrific partner in activating throughout the marketplace."
