Circle K Midwest Signs on with Park City Group

PARK CITY, Utah -- Circle K Midwest signed an agreement with Park City Group Inc. to install the software company's ActionManager solution in its more than 530 locations.

"Circle K has led the way for the convenience store industry for many years. Their dedication to the highest levels of customer service is well known in every market they serve. Naturally, we are very pleased to be working with this highly successful industry leader," said Randall K. Fields, Park City Group's chairman and CEO.

"Our rapid expansion with top-tier convenience store retailers like Circle K further validates our service and technology offerings. We anticipate adding additional customers from this sector in the coming months," he continued.

Park City Group develops and markets patented computer software that helps its retail customers to increase their sales while reducing their inventory and labor costs -- the two largest, controllable expenses in the retail industry.

Circle K, a wholly owned subsidiary of Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc., is one of North America's most successful operators of convenience stores with more than 2,100 Circle K stores across the United States.

In other Couche-Tard news, the company was named one of "10 Retailers to Watch" by international food and grocery expert IGD, along with such other retailers as ebay, Wegmans and Whole Food Markets. Couche-Tard was noted for experiencing growth of nearly 75 percent over the previous year.

"The focus of the 2006 'Ten to Watch' series is on differentiation, rather than price," said Jonathan Gunz, senior business analyst and author of the report. "A high level of customer service and a unique corporate culture or business ethos make a big difference for many retailers and can lead to their inclusion in our list."
