Circle K Wins Store Operations Superstar Award
LAVAL, Quebec — Circle K Stores Inc. won a Store Operations Superstar award from Retail Touchpoints, which honors 11 companies that have implemented the most innovative, successful store operations strategies.
The division of Laval-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. won a silver award in the mobile strategies category for implementing a retail technology solution that enabled the convenience store retailer to gain faster access to store-level information on the go.
Specifically, Circle K enlisted the help of Clearwater, Fla.-based AccuStore, an intelligence app, to drastically reduce its overspend, eliminate waste and improve two-way communication between the head office and stores.
AccuStore nominated Circle K for the Store Operations Superstar award after noticing the transformations the retailer made using its mobile app and platform.
“We’re honored to be the catalyst behind Circle K’s store operations success,” said Alec Veinger, AccuStore’s vice president. “AccuStore provided the speed and ease for Circle K to create the store experience it envisioned.”
