Clark Eyes Growth in Four Corners

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Clark Brands, LLC is partnering with Wallingford Coffee to grow its Four Corners Coffee brand. The companies have signed a Designated Supplier Agreement, making Cincinnati, Ohio-based Wallingford a preferred vendor for Four Corners Coffee.

Under the terms of the agreement, Wallingford will sell, distribute and supply Four Corners Coffee in a five-state area, while working closely with Clark’s customers in those areas to help them grow the Four Corners Coffee brand at their retail locations, according to the chain.

"The Four Corners Coffee brand has performed very well in those retail locations where it has been installed. We believe that Wallingford can help us take the brand to the next level," said Karl Goodhouse, president of Clark Brands, which licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand to independent petroleum marketers and retailers in 17 states.

As a designated supplier and preferred vendor, Wallingford will be responsible for the distribution and supply of Four Corners Coffee throughout Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia. The company also will manage equipment and image surveys and installations, as well as provide round the clock equipment service and maintenance.

Wallingford has signed an agreement to license the Four Corners Coffee brand and intends to market Four Corners as its premier coffee brand throughout the company's market area.

"We at Wallingford Coffee are excited to have the opportunity to partner with Clark Brands," said Gary Weber, Jr. vice president of national sales. "We will use the Four Corners marketing program to grow new convenience store business for both companies."
