Colorado C-stores Serve Up Free Meals on Christmas
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Some Colorado residents will be getting free hot meals for the holiday.
Five Wienerschnitzel Express locations in western Colorado convenience stores will provide free food on Christmas, reported The Business Times. The meals include two hot dogs, French fries, a beverage and a Tastee Freeze soft serve cone and will be served at the "No One Goes Hungry on Christmas" event.
Grand Junction-based Rocky Mountain Convenience Stores operates Shell Convenience Stores, and co-branded Wienerschnitzel and Tastee Freeze locations in Western Colorado.
The stores will give away food from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 25 at stores located at:
- Shell Convenience Stores at 333 N. First St. and 745 Horizon Drive in Grand Junction
- 401 30 Road in Fruitvale
- 1440 N. Townsend Ave. in Montrose
- Interstate Highway 70 Exit 75 in Parachute
Santa Claus will visit the First Street store from 11 to 11:45 a.m. and the 30 Road store from 12:15 to 1 p.m.
