Construction of New 7-Eleven HQ Set for Summer

IRVING, Texas -- Construction on 7-Eleven Inc.'s new corporate headquarters will begin this summer, the Dallas Morning News reported.

Developer Billingsley Co. will soon commence work on 7-Eleven's future 300,000-square-foot headquarters just north of the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway in Irving. 7-Eleven's new location is part of Billingsley's Cypress Waters development, which started in 2011.

"7-Eleven's building starts this summer," Billingsley CEO Lucy Billingsley told the news outlet. "Within two years, we will have 900,000 square feet of offices open and occupied."

The city of Irving reportedly agreed to more than $10 million in incentives to lure 7-Eleven, which is currently headquartered in downtown Dallas.

7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises or licenses more than 10,300 7-Eleven stores in North America.
